Past Workshop: Freedom from Perfectionism

“Our greatest fear should not be of failure but of succeeding at things in life that don’t really matter” Francis Chan

Do you often feel discouraged, guilty, unsatisfied and exhausted?

As a perfectionist it’s so easy for me to run through life mastering, achieving, accomplishing and perfecting the things that I know I am good at and are bound to be successful at; even if they aren’t the things I’m truly after in life. It’s easy to feel discouraged as we procrastinate on the things that matter most to us.

We work hard at all we do and strive for excellence. It’s easy to burn out from these seasons of overachieving.

This workshop is not about becoming someone else. I will always make to-do lists. I will always multi-task. I will always have a hard time making decisions. This workshop is about taking it down a notch; while not losing who we are. It’s about using these qualities to our advance instead of letting them run us, and those around us, into the ground.

I’m looking forward to a morning with you of learning and growth, group discussion, personal self-reflection, encouragement and coffee! Get ready to return home feeling lighter, more free and a little more of yourself.
